Learn about Tatjana Popovic’s background, credentials, and compassionate, evidence-based sleep strategies tailored for toddlers and children aged 1 and up.

M.Ed., RBA (Ont.), BCBA

I help Ontario families solve complex sleep and behaviour challenges using evidence-based strategies from contemporary applied behaviour analysis. My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on giving you the tools to handle whatever comes next.

After years of working in behaviour analysis and becoming a parent myself, I realized how little behavioural science was being applied to one of the most common parenting challenges: sleep. I founded The Restful Path to bridge that gap—teaching parents to think like behaviour analysts so they can understand and address their child’s sleep challenges with confidence.

My Approach

I bring years of experience working directly with children, families, and educators, which taught me that there’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution. Every family has different values, different circumstances, and different goals. My approach is built around understanding your unique context and creating strategies that actually fit your life.

I also incorporate mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies to help you build flexibility when things don’t go as planned (because let’s be honest, they rarely do). Parenting is hard. Sleep challenges are exhausting. Behavioural struggles are frustrating. My goal isn’t just to fix the immediate problem, it’s to help you develop the skills to stay grounded, make values-based decisions, and adapt when life throws curveballs.

This means:

  • We work together to understand what matters most to your family
  • You learn to respond flexibly when strategies need adjusting
  • You build confidence to handle challenges that come up later
  • You make decisions that align with your parenting values, even when it’s hard
You’re not just getting a plan. You’re building a skillset.
