Insurance
We provide receipts for all sessions. Coverage for behaviour analyst services varies significantly by extended health plan, and many plans do not currently cover this service category. We recommend confirming with your provider directly before booking. Health Spending Accounts (HSAs/HCSAs) often offer more flexibility than traditional insurance.
Common Questions
Most families book 2-4 follow-up sessions in the first 4-6 weeks after their assessment. Some need more support, others feel confident after 1-2 sessions. It depends on the complexity of your situation and your comfort level with independent implementation.
Yes, but it’s not recommended. Most families find that follow-up sessions significantly increase their success because we can troubleshoot real-time challenges, adjust strategies based on your child’s response, and build your confidence in problem-solving.
I work with many families whose children have diagnosed conditions. I help address specific behavioural concerns using behavioural strategies, but I don’t provide treatment for the diagnosed condition itself. If your child is receiving other services (therapy, medication management), we can coordinate care with appropriate releases of information.
I provide behavioural services to parents and caregivers, not therapy to children. I teach you evidence-based strategies from applied behaviour analysis to address specific behaviours. This is parent coaching and skill-building, not psychological treatment.
You can always book additional sessions as needed. Many families book periodic check-ins during challenging times (developmental transitions, new siblings, starting school) even months after their initial work together.
